Terms of Advertising

These Terms of Advertising govern all advertising, promotional, sponsored, and commercial content placed with Times Intelligence Media Group across our digital publications, platforms, and services. By placing an order, submitting materials, or confirming a campaign, advertisers agree to be bound by these terms. These terms apply to all advertising formats including display advertising, sponsored content, banner placements, event coverage, research-based features, partnerships, and PR distribution services. Each confirmed booking or insertion order constitutes a separate agreement under these terms. Any additional terms proposed by advertisers, agencies, or intermediaries shall not apply unless expressly agreed in writing by Times Intelligence Media Group.

Editorial Independence

Times Intelligence Media Group operates under a strict independent editorial policy. Advertising or commercial engagement does not influence editorial decisions, news coverage, opinions, or reporting standards. Sponsored or commercial content is clearly distinguished from editorial content. We do not publish misleading, deceptive, or fabricated material, and we reserve full discretion to refuse content that conflicts with our editorial principles or audience trust.

Acceptance of Advertising

All advertising content is subject to approval. We reserve the right to reject, amend, suspend, or remove advertising at any stage if it:
  • Breaches applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringes third-party rights
  • Is misleading, discriminatory, or unethical
  • Poses reputational, legal, or technical risk
  • Conflicts with our editorial standards or audience interests
Approval of an advertisement does not imply endorsement of the advertiser, product, or service.

Advertiser Responsibilities

The advertiser confirms that all submitted materials:
  • Are lawful, accurate, and not misleading
  • Do not infringe intellectual property or personal rights
  • Comply with advertising, consumer protection, and fair-trading laws
  • Have obtained all necessary permissions, licences, and consents
Advertisers remain solely responsible for the content of their advertisements and any linked landing pages.

Sponsored and Commercial Content

For sponsored articles, branded features, and PR-led content, we maintain oversight to ensure relevance, quality, and audience suitability. To protect platform integrity and search visibility, we may review, monitor, update, deindex, or remove commercial content if it raises compliance, quality, or audience trust concerns. No refunds are guaranteed once content has been published.

Payments and Pricing

Advertising must be paid in full prior to publication unless credit terms are formally agreed. Prices are based on the applicable rate at the time of booking and may be subject to taxes where required. Late payments may result in campaign suspension, content removal, or refusal of future bookings.

Cancellations and Amendments

Cancellations or changes must be submitted in writing within agreed notice periods. Where preparation or publication work has commenced, refunds may not be available. Partial or early termination of campaigns does not entitle advertisers to proportional refunds unless agreed in writing. We reserve the right to cancel advertising with reasonable notice if required for legal, operational, or editorial reasons.

Errors and Liability

Advertisers are responsible for reviewing materials before publication. Our liability for any error or omission is limited, at our discretion, to correction, replacement, or a proportionate refund. We are not liable for indirect losses, including loss of revenue, reputation, or opportunity.

Digital Advertising and Performance

Digital advertising metrics are based on internal or third-party measurement tools. Performance figures are indicative and not guaranteed. We do not warrant traffic volumes, engagement levels, or commercial outcomes unless explicitly stated in writing.

Data Protection and Compliance

Both parties agree to comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws. Advertisers using tracking technologies, pixels, or third-party tools must obtain appropriate consent and remain responsible for lawful data use. Further details are outlined in our Privacy and Cookie Policies.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in platform design, layout, editorial formats, and internally produced content remain the property of Times Intelligence Media Group. Advertisers may not use our branding or trademarks without prior written permission.

Indemnity

Advertisers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Times Intelligence Media Group against claims, losses, or expenses arising from their advertising content, instructions, or breach of these terms, except where caused by our proven negligence.

Governing Law

These Terms of Advertising are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Times Intelligence Media Group operates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts. We may update these Terms of Advertising from time to time. Continued use of our advertising services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
